Building Trust

Parent’s Corner- February 24, 2019

“Let me hear in the morning of your steadfast love, for in you I trust.  Make me know the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul.”  Psalm 143:8 ESV

“Have a great day!  Be a blessing!  Have fun storming the castle!”

These are the words that I say to my kids each morning as they go out the door to school.  I’ve been saying the same thing for so long that they often say it along with me!

Repetition.  Habit.  Tradition.  Familiarity.

Once something is a habit, it is expected.  It is predictable.  It is known.

I’m praying for you and your family as I pray for me and mine. . . may we trust in the Lord and make our focus on Him a part of our daily routine.  May our trust in Him be instinctive, may our reliance on Him be natural, and may our souls be content in His will for our lives.

May you find joy in your parenting this week!
