Looking Back

Parent’s Corner- June 2, 2019

“But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.”  John 14:26 ESV

Review.  Webster defines this verb in several different ways. . . to look back on, to take a retrospective view of, to examine or study again.

This week, our elementary Sunday school classes reviewed the material studied over the last few months.  Looking back is so important.  It gives students the ability to correct those areas that they may have forgotten or misunderstood and gives the opportunity to gain more knowledge that didn’t “sink in” the first time.  Isn’t that just like God to give us another chance?  To acknowledge our sins and failures and come to His Truth for forgiveness and guidance.  We serve a great God!

May you find joy in your parenting this week!
