Rejoice in the Lord!  Wherever these words find you today, whatever the circumstances, whatever the kind of day you are having, may you find joy in the Lord!  May He supply joy in abundance in your parenting journey today! 

This week in Sunday School. . .

2/3s- God Takes Care of Joseph

Scripture- Genesis 37-41

Lesson Truth- God took good care of Joseph.

Aims for the Children- to do at least one of the following during this lesson:

1.     Tell how Joseph’s brothers treated him

2.     Tell who was taking care of Joseph all the time

3.     Tell how God takes care of them

4.     Thank God for taking care of them

4s-5th Grade- Nehemiah

Principle- Believers must depend on God’s strength to do God’s will.  Believers respond to God’s Word by turning away from sin and humbly depending on Christ.

Ask your child- How did God accomplish His plan to rebuild the Wall?  How did the Israelites respond to Ezra reading God’s Word?

Children’s Church- God creates a new Heaven and a New Earth

Scripture- Revelation 21-22

Lesson Goal- The child will be encouraged by what is to come and will prepare for the coming of Christ.

Bible Truths-

1.     God will make a new heaven and earth.

2.     Believers will live in the New Jerusalem.

3.     In the New Jerusalem there will be no sin.

Key Verse- “And He said to me, ‘It is done!  I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End.  I will give of the foundation of the water of life freely to him who thirsts.”  Revelation 21:6
