Beginnings
Parent’s Corner- September 1, 2019
“And he who was seated on the throne said, ‘Behold, I am making all things new.’ Also he said, ‘Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.’” Revelation 21:5 ESV
Beginnings. Many of our families are experiencing new beginnings this Fall. . . perhaps a new grade, a new school, or a new adventure. Beginnings can be challenging, but they can also be refreshing and exciting. Beginnings are a chance to start over, a clean slate, a fresh start. Today, many children learned about beginnings. . . the story of the very beginning of creation, and the passage illustrating the new beginning that we can have in Christ when we repent of our sins and are welcomed into His family. These examples of beginnings should bring thoughts of joy, thankfulness, and anticipation. It begs the question. . . what will the Lord do with new beginnings? I can’t wait to find out!
