Sharing God's Love
Parent’s Corner- June 14, 2020
“How precious is your steadfast love, O God! The children of mankind take refuge in the shadow of your wings.” Psalm 36:7
Anyone who has spent any time with a group of children will tell you that no two children are exactly alike. They vary in size, shape, background, temperament. . . and just about every other way that can be observed! They are all unique, they are all special, and they have all been created by God for a very special purpose. He loves each of them- on the days when they obey, on the days when they don’t. . . on the days when they share and on the days when they are selfish. . . on the days when they are grouchy and on the days they are happy and content. What a wonderful blessing to know that God’s love is there for all who believe!
This next week would have been our annual VBS at Grace. . . a week where over 100 kiddos would canvas the church- singing, playing, creating, eating, and learning about the Lord and His love for them. While we are not able to have that large group together this year, that should not stop us from sharing the love that God has for children with each and every one of them in our circles! We DO have the opportunity to reach those nearest to us. Do you have children as neighbors? Do you have cousins, nieces, nephews, or grandchildren that love to FaceTime? Do you have a friend from school you have been wanting to see? All of these are perfect recipients for this great message! Check out the links on the Grace Kids button on the website for ideas on how to engage children. If you have other ideas, I’d love to hear about them! As always, if you are up for a driveway visit. . . have lawn chair, have sidewalk chalk, will travel! : ) I’d love to see you!
