Parent’s Corner- August 23, 2020

“It is the Lord who goes before you.  He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you.  Do not fear or be dismayed.”  Deuteronomy 31:8 ESV

We see perfect examples of God’s care for us in our lessons for today.  In the story of Joseph, we see how God cares for the specific needs of one individual, while at the same time, planning for needs of an extended family, and even an entire people group!  In the passage in Revelation, we see how God will take care of His own for eternity by preparing a place for them in Heaven.  How great is our God that He can care for us now and prepare to care for all who love Him for eternity!  He is worthy of our trust and our praise.  He is faithful, and cares for us.  What a wonderful reminder to rest upon!  God loves us.  God will care for us.  We can trust Him.

Where do we go from here???

In our elementary classes, we’ve reached the end of our third year of curriculum.  We will be pressing “pause” on restarting with year one until such time as we can be together in person.  Until then, Parent’s Corner will take a different focus.  I will write more about that next week!

Have a blessed week!

This week “in” Sunday school. . .
