2s/3s- Moses and the Burning Bush

Scripture- Exodus 2-4 (selected passages)

Lesson Truth- Moses obeyed (said yes to ) God

Aims for the Children- to do at least one of the following during this lesson:

• Tell what God wanted Moses to do

• Tell how Moses finally answered God

• Play a game, understanding obedience

4s-5th Grade- God Creates the man and woman

Scripture-  Genesis 1:26-29, 2:7, 18-24

Principle-  God created man to worship Him

Ask Your Child- Why did God make man?

Apply- By worshipping God, who made us.

This Week- As a family, read Genesis 1:26-29, 2:7, 18-24

Next Week- Genesis 2:15-17;3:1-24

Children’s Church- Jacob wrestles with God

Scripture-  Genesis 32-33

Principle-  God hears the prayers of those who believe in Him.

Ask Your Child- What did Jacob pray?

Apply- By trusting God instead of fearing men

This Week- As a family, read Genesis 32-33
