Finding the Answers

Parent’s Corner- September 26, 2021

“All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.”  2 Timothy 3:16-17

We had something very exciting happen in Sunday school last week!  Well, if you asked the kids, they would probably just report that it was “business as usual”, but the fact that it seemed so common is what made it so special!  Let me explain. . .

One of our classes had painted pictures to illustrate the six days of creation.  The teacher had purposefully hung the finished pictures in the wrong order, and asked the kids to put them in the right order.  The kids were working together and discussing various features.  One student said, “hey, let me get the Bible.  We can check our answers there!”  If there are sweeter words to the ears of a Sunday School teacher or to a parent, they are few and far between!  What a wonderful lesson learned. . . the Bible has the answers to our questions!  All we have to do is look.  God has already provided!
