Parent’s Corner- February 6, 2022

"I cried out to him with my mouth; his praise was on my tongue. If I had cherished sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened; but God has surely listened and has heard my prayer. Praise be to God, who has not rejected my prayer or withheld his love from me!"

Psalm 66:17-20

Whether it is a prayer of confession, a prayer of praise, or a prayer including a request, we can trust that God hears our prayers.  What a comfort, and what a bedrock of faith to stand on.  Remind your children that the Lord hears their prayers.  He loves to hear from them!  Knowing that the Recipient is listening, makes it that much easier to pray.  This is a great practice to model for your kids, either as an individual or as a family.  Spend some time praying together as a family this week, and talk about the promise that God is always listening!
