Article XIX: Youth Ministries Policy

The purpose of the youth ministry of Grace Church is to assist parents as they cooperate with the Holy Spirit in the maturing process that God is directing in the lives of their children. We believe that that this process is a physical, spiritual, intellectual and social maturing that occurs primarily in the arena of the home (see Deuteronomy 6:1-9, 20-25).

Scheduled activities will be designed to call our young people to commit themselves voluntarily to submit to the work of the Spirit of God, with the following goals in mind:

(a)    Mold them into the image of Christ.

(b)   Teach them to respond properly to parents.

(c)    Develop among them caring relationships with their peers.

(d)   Teach them to reach out with the Gospel to those lost in their sin.
