We Have Arrived

 

After two plane rides, two shuttles, and many in-flight snacks, we have finally arrived to Albania! 

At approximately 11:00 at night, our shuttle from Tirana airport came to a halt on the streets of Pogradec.  We met with Cory Cramer, the missionary with Josiah Venture, ate some pizza on his balcony, and got some sleep as we prepared for an exciting day discovering the city.

Our first adventure in the city was a scavenger race, kinda like the Amazing Race competitions.  We ran around the town looking for clues and overcoming obstacles like converting our American money to Albanian currency, climbing a mountain, eating the brain of a sheep, and taking a paddle boat out on the lake.  This was a great way to see the city from an inside perspective and to meet some really cool locals.

 We are now resting and packing up to head over to Korce tonight to join up with the youth group. Pray with us as we meet new people and build relationships for the gospel!
