Claire Patty - JVK Ministry Specialist
Claire Patty grew up in the Czech Republic as the daughter of Dave & Connie. From a young age she was impacted by being raised in a cross-cultural setting and seeing the gospel transform lives. After graduating from a Czech national school, she moved to Chicago to begin her studies in Children’s Ministry at Moody Bible Institute. During her years at Moody, God placed a passion in her heart for third-culture missionary kids. A summer internship equipped her to provide training and debrief with missionary kids and their families, and it was there that her desire deepened to see these children cared for on the field.
Claire is currently in the Wheaton area. She is enjoying getting to attend her home church, Grace Church of DuPage, and connecting with her friends here. She has joined the JV team and will be heading back to the Czech Republic by the end of 2017 to become the JVK Ministry Specialist. Her role will involve coming alongside JV kids and their families across Central and Eastern Europe to equip them in the challenges they face, helping them thrive in their local churches and countries where they live. She is thrilled to not only be returning to the Czech Republic, where she will be based out of, but also serving the JV kids, children whom she can uniquely understand because of their shared background.
PRAY THIS WEEK:
- Pray for Dave & Connie, Theresa, Karis, and Claire
- To trust the Lord and keep Him first in their lives (Proverbs 3:5-6)
- To be faithful to living and sharing the Gospel message with others (2 Timothy 4:2)
- To love others well for the sake of the Gospel and the glory of God (John 13:34-35)
- Pray for the whole Josiah Venture Team
- Ephesians 4:1-6
- 2 Timothy 2:22-26
- James 1:22-25
- 1 Timothy 4:6-10
- Pray for the unsaved students that will hear the Gospel through JV's ministry
- That they would hear the Gospel, believe the message and be saved!
(2 Corinthians 4:3-6) - Grow in love and relationship with the Lord (Ephesians 4:14-15)
- And spread the good news of the Gospel to others (Matthew 28:19)
