Prayer for JV Kids Camp this Week
An Update from Claire Patty
JV Kids made the tough call to transition from their annual JVK Camp to an online "JVK Camp Experience", which will take place August 19-21. Amidst the regulations and travel restrictions of COVID-19, they are grateful to be "together" in this way, across many countries.
Because the JV kids look forward to this camp all year, it was difficult for Claire and the rest of the team to forego gathering in person this year. However, when they sent out the news about the changes to camp, it was encouraging to see how the JV Kids and their parents responded. They expressed both their disappointment, and also shared their readiness to receive whatever God had planned. It was a continued reminder that God is caring for all of us in the midst of change.
Prayer Requests for JVK Camp Experience 2020:
Pray that this experience draws every participant closer to Jesus!
Pray for the JV Kids to have open hands and hearts to receive something different this year from the Lord. Pray that they can come to the online program with hope-filled expectation and eagerness to engage.
Pray for technology to work for the times we will be online all together! With 55 kids and 23 staff engaging online, we need God's grace for technology!
