Summer Joy
Parent’s Corner- July 22, 2018
Summer is wonderful, but can be tricky. Each family tries to find its ideal balance between activity and rest, excitement and routine, schedule and spontaneity, all within the parameters of allowable vacation time, budget, and energy. Wherever this summer finds you and your family, I pray you are able to spend time with the ones you love, especially the Lord Jesus. If I miss seeing you in church because our vacations don’t line up with each other’s, know that I’m praying for you!
“May the Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his fact shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.” Numbers 6: 24-26
While many lazy summer days lie ahead of us in the next month or so, we are already planning for a great Fall in Children’s Ministry. AWANA registration is open on the church website, Sunday school teachers are preparing lessons, and many opportunities for service stand ready and waiting for willing hands to fill them. If you are interested in praying for Children’s Ministry, or if you would like to consider serving, please let me know. It is a blessing to serve with all of you!
