It is good to give thanks to the Lord!
Parent’s Corner for Sunday, July 8, 2018
“It is good to give thanks to the LORD, to sing praises to your name, O Most High; to declare your steadfast love in the morning and your faithfulness by night, to the music of the lute and the harp, to the melody of the lyre. For you, O LORD, have made me glad by your work; at the works of your hands I sing for joy.” Psalm 92:1-4
In the spirit of giving thanks to the Lord, let me start by thanking Him for the privilege of serving you and your kiddos each week! It is a such a blessing to see so many from within our body come around children and their families, desiring to plant the seeds of the Gospel in the fertile soil of these precious blessings, and help to water the seeds planted by parents. I’m so thankful for the generous gifts of time and talents that are so willingly given each week!
Would you join me in praying for the Lord to raise up more workers to pour His love into the hearts and minds of the children he has entrusted to our body? He is faithful! If you have questions about specific needs in Children’s Ministry, please ask! I’m happy to talk with you! As of now, we have openings in almost every class, with a special need in our nursery cleaning rotation.
