Children are a Blessing to the Body!
Parent’s Corner- August 26, 2018
“I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.” 3 John 1:4
What a blessing it is to have so many children in our church body! Each and every week, over 80 children are cared for in the nursery and taught in Sunday school rooms. I am so thankful for the many volunteers who give of their time and talents to benefit the body by caring for our children. Would you like to make a difference in the life of a child? I have many opportunities available, and I would love to talk to you about it! Please continue to pray for the Lord to meet our staffing needs so that can faithfully care for our “little blessings”.
This Week in Sunday School:

2. Tell who was taking care of Joseph and his brothers
3. Thank God for taking care of us
4s-K- Review Lesson
1st-2nd- Review Lesson
3rd-5th- Review Lesson
This week in Sunday school, our elementary classes took some time to review what they have learned over the past two months. These review lessons covered the books of Leviticus and Numbers. Teachers put quite a bit of creativity into their lessons, so I’m sure your children will have plenty to share!
Next Week, we will begin our study of Year 2 in the Generations of Grace Curriculum! Lessons will begin in Deuteronomy, and go through Nehemiah by the end of Summer 2019, taking a break for Christmas lessons and Easter lessons.
Children’s Church will resume next week in Year 3 of the Generations of Grace Curriculum- a study of the New Testament, focusing on the books of Matthew, Acts, and Revelation
