Our Main Corporate Gatherings
Sunday Morning Worship Service
Our Sunday morning worship service at Grace Church of DuPage happens in our sanctuary at 9:30. Each service is designed to be a God-glorifying, Christ-exalting, Spirit-empowered, and cross-focused celebration of the gospel of our crucified, risen, and returning Lord Jesus Christ. The music style is a blend of old hymns and new songs that facilitates our aim as just described, preparing our hearts for the ministry of the Word through systematic exposition of whole books of the Bible, interspersed with occasional topical expositions. We give the bulk of our time on Sunday mornings to this ministry of expository preaching.
We celebrate Communion on the first Sunday of each month in our AM services, and also in the evening at our Third Sunday Family Dinner and Devotional.
We celebrate believer’s Baptism occasionally as well both on Sunday mornings and Sunday evenings.
Wednesday Evening Prayer Meeting
We share answers to prayer, spend time discussing God’s Word to prepare our hearts for prayer, and then really pray together each week from 7:15-8:30. It is hard to imagine that there is any higher priority on the planet than to be present for these times of corporate prayer.
