God Almighty, Lord Most Holy, great and glorious mystery
Wholly other, without equal, undivided trinity
In Your word you have revealed that You are One intrinsically
Single substance, three in Person, here is true divinity
Everlasting God and Father, Unbegotten, Principle
You communicate Your essence to Your Son, the Lord of all
By Your tender love and mercy, You Your people would redeem
Sent to us a gracious Savior, truly man, yet God Supreme
Ever equal to your Father, Son from all eternity
Sole Begotten, Most Beloved, lifted up in majesty
Humbly in your incarnation, you submitted as a son
Learned obedience through your sufferings, and so our salvation won
Having purchased our redemption, to Your glory You returned
Faithful Shepherd caring for us, sent to us the Comforter
Holy Spirit e're proceeding from the Father and the Son
Gift of love poured on your people, blessing us, Your chosen ones
We confess the Holy Spirit, We confess the Son our Lord
We confess th’ Eternal Father; Triune God whom we adore
Lead us into honest worship in the faith once handed down
That with those who've gone before us we may publish your renown
