O, make Your Word a swift Word
Passing from ear to heart
From heart to lip in fellowship
And life among the lost
As rain returns not empty
So neither may Your Word
Accomplish that for which it’s giv’n
In name of Christ our Lord
Let not our foolish, sinful hearts
Rob us of Your sweet love
Forgive our sin, perfect within
Complete what You've begun
Ride on, O King, righteous and meek
And bless these gathered souls
Hear every plea, heal every need
And satisfy the poor
O Spirit of the King above,
Come breathe into our hearts
The breath of life to end our strife
Empower lives of love
