Hiding God's Word in Our Heart

“I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.”  Psalm 119:11

I believe that hiding God’s word in our heart is one of the most important things we can do as believers.  Not only are we able to access Scripture for our benefit throughout our day when it is already in our minds, but we can use it in the training of our children.  Isn’t it great when we can rely on a verse to share with our children as we guide and instruct them?  I know this an area that I can always improve upon.  I’m inspired each week as I hear our AWANA kiddos reciting their verses.  It’s my prayer that these verses would stay in their hearts and minds, and that they would continue to rely upon them as they go about their days.

May you find joy in your journey today!
