4.     Answer the question: Does Jesus love you?

5.     Tell other children about Jesus’ love

4s-K- God Punishes Israel’s Idolatry

Scripture- Exodus 32

Lesson Goal- Students will thank God for His mercy and patience.

Bible Truths-

1.      Aaron made a golden calf for Israel to worship.

2.     God wanted to destroy the people.

3.     Moses prayed that God would have mercy.

4.     God had mercy on Israel and did not destroy them.

Key Verse- “So the Lord relented from the harm which He said He would do to His people” (Exodus 32:14).

1st-2nd Grade- God Ordains the Tabernacle

Scripture- Exodus 25-31

Lesson Goal- Students will thank God for making a way to dwell with them.

Lesson Objectives- Students will be able to

1.     List in order (from outside in) the seven articles of tabernacle furniture.

2.     Explain how God’s holiness is seen in the tabernacle.

3.     Explain the significance of the mercy seat and how it points to Jesus Christ.

4.     Describe the significance of tabernacle.

Key Verse- “And let them make Me a sanctuary, that I may dwell among them” (Exodus 25:8).
