Counting Your Blessings
Parent’s Corner- July 5, 2020
“Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits”
Psalm 103:2 ESV
Count your blessings.
Have you done that recently? What would be on that list? Your home? Your family? Your friends? A treasured possession? What happened when one of these blessings was lost, damaged, or injured in some way? No matter how much we love and care for these, they will not last forever.
When was the last time you counted the blessings of knowing and loving Jesus? These blessings will last forever! By loving Jesus, our sins are forgiven, we will spend eternity with Jesus in Heaven, nothing can separate us from the love of God. . . how many more can you count? This would be a great family activity to see who can come up with the most!
This week’s Sunday school lessons. . .
