Parent’s Corner- August 16, 2020

“And I heard the altar saying, “Yes, Lord God the Almighty, true and just are your judgements!”  Revelation 16:7 ESV

Saying yes.

Sometimes it is easy.

“Yes, I’d love to have coffee with you!”  “Yes, I would love it if you would (fill in with your least favorite household chore) for me!”

Sometimes it is more difficult.

“Am I able to take that on?” “Do I want that responsibility?”

When it comes to saying Yes to God, it is always in our best interest!  Rebecca said yes to leaving home and marrying a man she hadn’t met because she believed it was what God was directing her to do.  She knew God would take care of her.  In our lesson in Revelation, we see that our home for eternity is a result of saying yes to God and accepting His free gift of Salvation.

Saying Yes to God is always the right choice!
