“Give ear and hear my voice,

Listen and hear my words.” Isaiah 28:23

In the last few weeks, we’ve been talking about the instructions that God faithfully gives us in His word.  This week, we can see how important it is to hear God’s instructions, take those instructions seriously, and actually put them into practice.  Samuel was a good listener, and knew God’s voice when he heard it.  His ears were open, he was willing to listen, and he followed instructions.  The people of Babel cared more about listening to themselves and honoring themselves. . . that did not turn out too well for them!

This week, what can you do to open your ears and turn your attention to what the Lord would have you learn?
